Our Montessori Preschool Program
At our school, the Montessori Preschool Program offers a unique, child-centered approach to early education. Instead of traditional rows of desks, you will find a bright, intentionally designed environment where children are carefully supported by their teachers through 1:1 instruction or small group lessons. In a Montessori classroom, we do not just prepare children for the next grade level--we prepare them for life.
Our Preschool environment is designed to foster independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Children explore five core areas of study at their own pace:
*More on Mixed-Age Classrooms: Montessori classes are organized to encompass a two- or three-year age span, which offers younger students the inspiration of older children, who in turn benefit from serving as role models. Each child learns at her own pace and is ready for any given lesson in their own time, not on the teacher’s schedule of lessons. In a mixed-age class, children can always find peers who are working at their current level. Working in one class for two years allows students to develop a strong sense of community with their classmates and teachers. This age range also allows gifted children to be stimulated by intellectual peers without requiring them to skip a grade or feel emotionally out of place.
- Hands-On Learning: Children use specialized wooden materials to naturally master complex concepts in math, language, science, and geography.
- *Mixed-Age Classrooms: Students ages 3 and 4 work together, allowing younger children to learn from older peers and older children to reinforce their knowledge through leadership.
- Independent Choices: Under the gentle guidance of trained teachers, children choose their own activities, fostering deep focus, self-discipline, and a lifelong love for learning.
- Practical Life Skills: Everyday tasks like pouring, sorting, and buttoning help children develop coordination, concentration, and independence.
- Nurturing the Spirit: Spiritual growth is an essential part of the child's holistic development. In our Montessori environment, young children meet Jesus through the image of the Good Shepherd, a foundational parable that perfectly matches their deep developmental need for love, protection, and security.

Our Program Will:
- Help Children know God and develop an appreciation for all creation
- Provide free-time for self-expression
- Include classes in Art, Music, Nature Studies, Food Preparation/Cooking, and Physical Education.
Tuition Breakdown:
- $7,575.00 5 Full Days
- $5,175.00 3 Full Days
- $5,850.00 5 Half Days
- $4,550.00 3 Half Days
School Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures:
- Drop-off: Doors open at 7:50 AM; Parents will drop-off at the side gray door of the Parish Center. Children will be greeted by their teacher and walked down to their classroom.
- Pick-up: Dismissal is at 2:30pm at the main entrance glass doors of the Parish Center. Half day students are dismissed at 11:30am. Please have your ID with you.
- The Preschool Program will follow the schedule used by Holy Angels Catholic School from September to June.
We also offer a Before School Program (7 AM to 7:45 AM) and an Extended Day Program (2:35 PM to 5:30 PM) for an additional fee.
